How do I find an on-campus job?

Below are the current on campus job opportunities. Aramark (Dining Services) hires independently from ACU and maintains a website for employment opportunities.

We encourage everyone to create and maintain a current resume for job applications. If you need help creating a resume please see the Career Center Guides link in the left sidebar.

How do I find out about off-campus job opportunities?

Jobs like babysitting, housekeeping, lawn mowing, etc. are posted on the bulletin board in the Campus Center. Check ACU CareerLink for pre-professional off campus part-time opportunities as well as the local newspaper.

Summer Advisor

Department: Upward Bound

Position: Summer Advisor


  • Student must be energetic and have a sincere desire to positively impact the lives of disadvantaged high school students. 
  • Must have effective listening and communication skills. 
  • Show sensitivity and respect towards diverse populations. 
  • Show a high level of self-awareness including knowledge of personal strengths and challenge areas. 
  • Must demonstrate professional behavior. 
  • Student must be responsible and willing to learn.

Position Description:

  • Summer advisor will act as chaperone for participant activities, day and night residential advisor and teachers aid during a 6 - week college access program for high school students. 
  • The advisor will assists program participants with class assignments as well as mentor participants.

Preferred Availability

  •  For the first three (3) weeks of the Summer Academy, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 10:00 pm shifts will be assigned; Sunday 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • For the last three (3) weeks of the Summer Academy, Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
