How do I find an on-campus job?


Below are the current on campus job opportunities. Aramark (Dining Services) hires independently from ACU and maintains a website for employment opportunities.


We encourage everyone to create and maintain a current resume for job applications. If you need help creating a resume please see the Career Center Guides link in the left sidebar.


How do I find out about off-campus job opportunities?


Jobs like babysitting, housekeeping, lawn mowing, etc. are posted on the bulletin board in the Campus Center. Check ACU CareerLink for pre-professional off campus part-time opportunities as well as the local newspaper.

Position: Student Employee

Qualifications:

  • Professional
    • Customer service experience preferred
    • Familiarity with the use of fax, printing, copy, and scanning
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software tools, E-Mail applications, and web browsers
  • Personal
    • Must handle highly confidential information with discretion and good judgment
    • Commitment to exceptional customer service
    • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented 
    • Reliable, team player 
    • Neat, professional appearance
    • Must take initiative - look for things to do
  • Physical Demands
    • Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds
    • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
    • Must be able to deliver things to different offices around campus

Position Description:

  • Responsible to the Office of the Registrar for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining confidential information, and undertaking tasks including but not limited to: 
    • Preparing documents for scanning and scanning documents into a document management system
    • Answering phones
    • Data entry
    • Assisting walk-in visitors and occasionally conducting research for special projects
  • Basic Responsibilities
    • Provide exceptional customer service to the ACU faculty, staff, students, and others who may need assistance by phone email, or in person.
    • Responsible for completing various Office of the Registrar duties, including but not limited to: 
      • preparing documents for scanning and scanning documents into a document management system
      • Answering phones
      • Data entry
      • Assisting walk-in visitors and occasionally conducting research for special projects. 

Preferred Availability

  • Limit of 15 hours per week. 
  • Our office is open 8am-noon and 1pm to 5:00. 
  • Any schedule will be considered, but afternoons are preferred. 
  • Summer work hours are optional.
